Make Each Day of Your Honeymoon Count

Honeymoon in Andaman

Marriage is one of the most important stages in a person's life, let it be man or women they would have greater expectation from a married life and the life partner. My greatest dream for my marriage was on the honeymoon to the dream land of beaches, islands and waters. Andaman was the perfect destination for my dream honeymoon. On the 23rd of July, I changed my surname from Mathew to Ashik I was no more the free Miss. who lived her life according to her wish but now a Mrs who had many responsibilities and relations to deal with. After our marriage our first week together mostly tightly scheduled with visiting the family members and knowing the new relations that I got after the marriage. It was on the 31st morning my husband surprised me by arriving early from work and suddenly packing our dresses, I was stunned and at first I didn't know what was happening. After seeing me tensed and perplexed he said that we were leaving for Andaman. I was overwhelmed and came to know that he was planning for the trip from that week when he came to know about my wish from some of my closest friends. It was that moment when I felt blessed and lucky to have a life partner who gives importance to my likes and happiness. We selected Amazing Andaman honeymoon packages, organised by Andaman Tour Travels, which was convenient and within the budget for us. Some of the main destinations included in the packages we selected were The Neil Island, Campbell Bay, Little Andaman Island, Cinque Island, Mayabunder and some other destinations too.

We started our honeymoon trip on 31st noon at around, 11.30 via flight and reached the island by the evening at around 4.30 pm. we were welcomed by the organizers in Andaman and were lead to the hotel. the trip organizers booked for us the best honeymoon suite room with all facilities to enjoy the stay including the dining, visitors area and a balcony that give a perfect view of the clear blue waters and scenic scenery of the beaches. After the fresh up we decide to take a small tour of the Neil Island where we are staying for the trip.

Neil Island

Neil Island is the place with almost 3 beaches with great water life and beauty. In Neil Island, we 1st visited the Bharatpur Beach, is the most beautiful beach in the island with crystal clear water with a perfect sea green color. The waters show the clear under water life and different coral collections which increase the beauty of the waters. The waters were the perfect place for glass boat rides where we ride on a boat with a transparent glass bottom that allows you to see the water life beneath. The place is also a good spot for water activities and swimming with a number of safe spots for tourists. After spending an hour or so we decided to move to the Howrah Bridge, which is a perfect creation of the nature that clearly looks like a man made edifice.

Howrah Bridge

We walked through a small forest to reach the place which offered us the best view for taking photos. On the way, there were small shops which offered us refreshments; the Fresh Mango juice and Aam Panna are the tastiest drink you can ever have. The Howrah Bridge is a place that reflects the beauty of nature. Apart from the natural bridge, you could witness a mini sea at low tide with different water forms like crabs in the place. They will no lesser be a heaven for photographers who wish to see the true beauty of nature. Most of the  Best Andaman tour packages offer the tour to this place of natural beauty and elements. From the Howrah Bridge, we headed to the Laxmanpur Beach to watch the sunset.

Laxmanpur Beach

We reached the beach by 6.30 and decided to lie on the beach for a while enjoying the song of the waves. Laxmanpur Beach is the cleanest and largest beach in Neil Island and a perfect and must visit spot for sunset after viewing the sun set in the place. We were hungry by the time of sunset and decided to have some snacks from the tea stalls and shops that served us with Maggi, tea and bhajiyas, and Pakoras. After having the snack we decided to head back to the resort and spend some time quality time with each other. We reached back to the resort by 8.30 and spend the rest of the evening in the company of each other and nature. By 10.30 we decided to have our dinner and take a small walk through the beach near the resort. For dinner, we had some noodles and some special sea foods which I loved the most. The taste of the sea food with saltiness and spice all mixed to give a unique taste of the land is mouth watering and unforgettable. We finished our lunch by 11 and set off for a small night walk through the beaches enjoying the cold breeze and wet sand.  After the walk by 11.45, we reached back to the room and slept after talking with each other for a while.

 Campbell Bay

Next day morning I woke up early to see him sleeping peacefully like a child free from tension and other worries. By the time I freshened up he too was wide awake having his bed tea that I had kept for him. After dressing up we decided to have the breakfast and set out for the tour on the second day. Our destinations for the second day included places like Campbell Bay, Little Andaman Island, Mayabunder and the Cinque Island. After having the breakfast we headed to the Campbell Bay, which is located in the great Nicobar Island. Campbell Bay was a perfect destination with great natural beauty and a place very apt for couples where you could get romantic with the company of nature. We reached the island by 9 via the waters. One could also reach the place by chopper from Port Blair but the sea route is more economic. We were here to visit the main attraction of the place the Campbell Park, with rich green tropical evergreen forest, consisting mainly of orchids and tree ferns. The main animals found in the park are a crab-eating macaque, mega spores, giant robber crab, and the Nicobar pigeon.

 Little Andaman Island

After the tour of the park, we were lead to our next destination the Little Andaman Island. The Little Andaman Island is a perfect place for adventure sports. We reached the island by 11.30 the surprise plans arranged for us in the island included elephant safari, we were taken to a small tour of the place on an elephant, the funny thing about the elephant safari is that as the elephant walk you feel like drift from one side to the other. After the elephant safari, we decided to enjoy water surfing and boating in the place; I felt it be the most adventurous spot and enjoyed it to the best. It was the best way in which we could have a closer look at the water life I the beach. Other entertainment offered in the place included trekking and boating. The place had two beautiful waterfalls that depicted the nature and natural beauty to its best so after the adventures, we decided to take a bath in the clear and cold water. After the refreshing bath and adventures, we decide to have the lunch from the restaurant and then headed to Mayabunder. The place is one of the top listed destinations in most Enticing Andaman honeymoon packages from Chennai, with a breath taking views of mangroves and mesmerizing beaches.

We spend together some special and memorable moments on the lap of beaches with the picturesque view, sparkling clean water, powdered sand, and peaceful ambience. We headed to the Cinque Island by 4.00 pm and reached the place after 30 min at 4.30 pm.  The Cinque Island I a place with unique marine life and coral lives which give a perfect and mesmerizing view of the marine life. This barren island is connected to the main land by a sand bar, the place is a perfect destination for honeymooners with no humans inhabiting in the land. You could get romantic share some personal moments with your partner in this powdery sandy beach. Cinque Island was our last destination included in the trip and it was the last day of our honeymoon. By evening 4 we reached back to the hotel and checked out leaving behind the beaches and taking the best memories of my life in my heart.

We reached back to Chennai by 10.00 pm; Andaman is the best tourist destination for couples who would love to spend their days of honeymoon adventurously in the lap of nature and beaches.
